Max Wickemeyer

Development Director & PODCAST HOST

Max Wickemeyer is the volunteer Development Director and a Podcast Host for The Artists Index. He brings his nearly four decades of experience in the insurance industry. Music is his creative force, playing six and four-string instruments, playing in a hobby rock group for 15 years, and most recently, solo gigs at open-mic venues including The Vault Performing Arts Center & Pub and The Shepherd Center for the Performing Arts.

His other creative experiences and executions include carpentry, painting, plaster, metalwork, fine furniture, and picture frames. Max is a long-time landscape gardener and a Staff Ranger at the Assawompsett Pond Complex. His other hobbies include yoga, forest walks, biking, and roaming the South Coast. He was also a volunteer land steward for the Nature Conservancy.
