Catherine, a resident of Fairhaven, Massachusetts was our guest on In-Focus Podcast Number 57 and returns to update us on her progress as a practicing artist and art educator. She opened the doors to her school of art in her studio at the Hatch Street Studios in New Bedford in 2018.

Her work is found in numerous public, corporate, hospitality, and private collections. And, as of late, more of her work will be finding new homes due to a recent opportunity leading her to put her school on hold for now. The opportunity allows her, “… to focus on creating my artwork… I have been fortunate enough to be represented by an art consultant who places a lot of work in residential homes…”

Listen in on the conversation as The Artist Index’s host, Ron Fortier delves more into her life, work, and future ambitions. This episode was recorded with Zoom post-pandemic in 2021.

We will soon begin to offer the option to our guests of recording their podcasts in our studio at the Spectrum Marketing Group in Howland Place or via Zoom depending on the circumstances of the pandemic.

Although there seems to be an end in sight for the COVID-19 Pandemic, we will continue to podcast remotely, assisted by Zoom, to accommodate our guests’ schedules and to allow them to remain in the comfort of their homes.

The whole concept of The Artists Index and the journey we are on is are still in the making and very organic. If you would like to be a guest or, have a suggestion, please let us know!
