Due to the fact that there are many types of participants in the creative economy and each has a different perspective and set of economic realities, Practice Best Practice evolved as a series of workshops planned to help different segments of the cultural community on the Southcoast improve their practice and enhance their success in the creative economy.
These workshops help each group learn about best practices for them and the ways to work with the other groups to foster professional and financial success. The series is designed in conjunction with and delivered by New Bedford Art Museum/Art Works & The New Bedford Co-Creative Center.
Podcast Episode 28 features photographer and creative entrepreneur Denn Santoro. Denn was our first photographer interview on Podcast Episode 3! PLEASE NOTE: This was our first Skype produced podcast at the beginning of this Covid-19 Pandemic. The connection was wonky at best. The information provided by Denn Santoro is not new, but it is more relevant than ever as artists scramble to maintain or create income streams during this global crisis. And, also while deciding to post this episode, as Episode 27 in fact, we decided to hold on to it, But after some consideration, we decided to keep the recording as Episode 28 – yeah, now there’s two if you’re keeping track – and post it anyway.
