In Focus Podcast

Episode 62

I want to capture everything and everyone the way they are…

Brandon Cabral

Welcome photographer and visual artist Brandon Cabral to In-Focus Podcast Number 62. Brandon works in and around the streets of New Bedford, Massachusetts.

He describes himself as simply a “34-year-old father of three and artist with a focus in film photography.”  Brandon grew up in and is intimately familiar with nearly every section of his birth city of New Bedford.

The city is broken up into three geographic sections – the Westend, the Northend, and the Southend. Neighborhoods aren’t as easily discernable as they are in other cities.

He was raised by a young single mother. And as the Cape Verdean culture is maternal, with the aid and assistance of his grandmother and aunts. Uncles too, just a block away from the world-famous fishing docks,

Listen in on his conversation as The Artist Index’s host, Ron Fortier delves more into Brandon’s life, his photography, and his vision. This episode was recorded with Zoom during the pandemic of 2020. PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR THE PODCAST LINK or LISTEN HERE(new episodes are added a short time after being posted here)

The whole concept of The Artists Index and the journey we are on is are still in the making and very organic. And, at this critical time in our country’s history, challenged by the COVID-19 Pandemic, we have continued to podcast remotely, assisted by Zoom, in order to assure that our guests remain safe and, in the comfort of their home.

If you would like to be a guest or, have a suggestion, please let us know!
