CAROLYN DLOUHY WALEGA

Welcome, Carolyn Dlouhy Walega, AKA Carolyn Strules Walega, a former New Bedford, Massachusetts artist now living and working in Florida. A painter and muralist, Carolyn studied at The School of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts for her B.F.A. in Painting and Art Education and, another B.F.A. in Painting and Art Education from the Swain School of Design in New Bedford, Massachusetts.

She received her M.F.A. at the University of Massachusetts  Dartmouth where she majored in Painting and minored in Video. Carolyn has served as the Artist in Residence for the town of Fairhaven, Massachusetts, and was a Gallery Director/Art Consultant at three art galleries in Los Angeles, California.
