The Southcoast Artists Index

Salon Series

The Artists Index Salon Series brings local artists together for expert-led workshops and networking opportunities on topics that matter most to the creative community. There is no cost to attend the events, but space is limited so please RSVP.

What is the Salon Series?

The Artists Index Salon Series is designed to inform, inspire, and connect local artists through a series of engaging workshops and conversations. Each session features an expert speaker addressing a key topic—from managing artists’ estates and auctions, to the logistics of shipping art, to exploring tools and resources like The Spare Studio, and understanding the ins and outs of fine art reproduction. Alongside these presentations, the series provides valuable opportunities for networking, sharing experiences, and building connections across the South Coast’s creative community.

The Artists Index is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to documenting, promoting, and connecting the creative community across the South Coast. Through partnerships, live events, publications, podcasts, and digital media, the organization supports artists in being included, being counted, and being found.

The Salon Series is funded in part by a grant from the New Bedford Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
