Podcast Episode 165: Donna Dodson

Welcome, Donna Dodson, a sculptor and a Resident Scholar at the Women’s Studies Research Center at Brandeis University.  But wait, there’s more! Donna Dodson may be the only Fulbright US Scholar we’ve had on the podcast. She is also a Fellow at the St Botolph Club and a member of the Boston Sculptors Gallery.

By the way, she currently (as of the date of this post) has a new show at the Boston Sculptors Gallery – DONNA DODSON: SHEROES. Donna has exhibited her work, received favorable reviews, and won grants locally, nationally, and internationally. Her work is in numerous private and public collections locally, nationally, and internationally.

Her well-known “Seagull Cinderella” sculpture continues to attract international media attention. The Artists Index co-founder and host, Ron Fortier, talks to Donna Dodson about her background, passion for sculpture, and the chronicles of her infamous Seagull Cinderella sculpture!

The Artists Index continues using Zoom to accommodate our guests’ schedules and to allow them to remain in the comfort of their homes, especially for those who no longer live in the South Coast of Massachusetts. Our home base and studio is at Spectrum Marketing Group in Howland Place in New Bedford

The whole concept of The Artists Index and our journey is still in the making and very organic. If you would like to be a guest or, have a suggestion, please let us know!
