THANKS TO OUR PRESENTERS, GUESTS, & GRACIOUS HOSTS, THE MOBY DICK BREWING COMPANY!

The Artists Index would like to thank the presenters of our first Salon Series: Kevin Ribeiro the owner of several local UPS Stores for his Shipping Art Salon, Zarla Ludin, for her The Spare Studio Salon, Bob Lecomte of Riverside Art for his The Ins & Outs of Fine Art Reproduction Salon, Dr. Richard Connor for his Artists’ Estates & Auctions Salon, Midori Evans and Mark Collins for their Write With Community Salon, and Dr. Jane Ferris Richardson, for her Art, Heart, and Soul: Cultivating Empathy Salon, which wrapped up the series last evening.

The Salon Series will be on hiatus for June and July and will return in August with (TBA) Midori Evan’s Grant Writing Salon. Moby Dick Brewing Company was the perfect place for our salons. Thank you to manager Michael Warren and his fantastic staff. The Shipwreck Nachos were an especially big hit!

Click here for more information about The Artists Index Salon Series, which was designed to inform, inspire, and connect local artists through a series of engaging workshops and conversations. Each session features an expert speaker addressing a key topic. Alongside these presentations, the series provides valuable opportunities for networking, sharing experiences, and building connections across the South Coast’s creative community.

The Artists Index is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to documenting, promoting, and connecting the creative community across the South Coast. Through partnerships, live events, publications, podcasts, and digital media, the organization supports artists in being included, being counted, and being found.

The Salon Series is funded in part by a grant from the New Bedford Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
